Orientation Week
My most memorable creative work
This was a Gouache painting I made in high school for an art trial. It was a new media that have never used before, that acted similarly to watercolour but was more opaque. I tried to incorporate abstract styles with the lines into the self-portrait to add more aesthetics to the artwork.
A great piece of architecture in Marina at Keppel Bay, Singapore
These are the towers of a waterfront residential complex called Reflection. I took this image on a short trip to Marina Bay with my family. I interpret the rooftops of the buildings having the metal framework which infers that they are not fully constructed and still have room for improvements, or as metallic crows showing the luxury and wealth of the residential complex.
A photograph from my hometown
This is one of my favourite photographs that I took. When I was in this cafe in the mountains, there were these two cats on the roof beside my table. The moment I took out my camera the two cats came close together and gazed to my lenses for this shot. It was a bit surreal, but I was really glad I got such a timed shot.
